Are you a confident singer and a good sight-reader with a well-focused voice? We have vacancies in all voice parts from time to time. We are a friendly group with a very wide age range brought together both by the enjoyment of great music and the shared acceptance of the discipline required to seek very high standards. There are occasional opportunities for smaller ensembles or solo work with the choir.
We can offer a wide range of repertoire to explore, not just baroque, and we sing in some of the nicest venues in London and further afield. See below for what is coming up.
We rehearse on Monday evenings from 6.45pm to 9.30pm at St Stephen’s Church, Rochester Row, Westminster. Admission to the Choir will be by attending a trial rehearsal and then an audition, which involves scales, exercises, and sight reading. All auditions are taken by the Choir’s Musical Director, Jeremy Jackman.
Our new member information page gives more details for new and prospective members
Interested? If so, you are welcome to attend a rehearsal before we arrange your audition.
